She swam like a shark…
Her hazel eyes focused on what to do next as she pierced through the water, tossing and turning. When she finishes she glances up at the judges as they discuss her performance on her freestyle swim. A score of 58! Swimming for the Kennedy team and the Eastern Iowa Swim Federation Taylor Matta most likely has a full schedule.
When I first met Taylor she immediately sparked an interest in me about learning about her. Her eyes were the first thing I noticed, I was excited when she brought up the subject saying that her eyes changed colors. I asked her, “So you mentioned that your eyes change colors, is that according to what you wear or your mood?” And I found out that they are usually hazel, but it sometimes goes with her surroundings too. An example she gave was, “On a cloudy day they would be a dark stormy gray.”
While interviewing her I found out how truly unique she is, from getting a 58 in her swimming freestyle win, her eyes changing colors, and she is allergic to eggplant! But nothing can stop her from conquering every mountain along the way... This is Taylor Matta!

Exciting start to this piece! There wasn't a smooth transition from swimming to eye color so it felt a little choppy here. Search for that link or simply focus on one or the other. I liked that you asked a weird question about eye color! Sometimes the weird questions get us the most interesting answers.
